Air Fryer Egg Toast, also called Egg in a Hole or Egg in a Basket, is ready in under 10 minutes and 2 ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices of bread
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

    Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place bread in the air fryer basket.

    Using a glass make an indent in the center of the bread. Use your fingers the press down the center of the indent.

    Crack the egg into the center of the indent. It is ok if a little egg white goes beyond the indent. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top.

    Place basket into the air fryer. Cook 340°F for 8 minutes. If you want to add a small sprinkle of cheese add it during the last minute of cooking.

    Remove toast with a spatula and serve.
