- 1 tbsplime juice
freshly squeezed
- fresh parsley or cilantro

- green onions

Directions
Step 1: prep the salmon
- 1
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy texture. Remove any skin and cut the salmon into 1-inch bite-sized cubes.
- 2
Place the salmon pieces in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- 3
Toss gently to coat the salmon evenly with the seasoning.
Step 2: make the bang bang sauce
- 1
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth and creamy.
- 2
Taste and adjust the sauce—add more sriracha for heat or honey for sweetness. Set aside.
Step 3: cook the salmon
- 1
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add a small amount of olive oil to prevent sticking.
- 2
Once the oil is hot, add the salmon pieces in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Work in batches if needed.
- 3
Sear the salmon for 2-3 minutes per side, gently turning to brown all sides. Cook until the salmon is golden and crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside.
- 4
Transfer cooked salmon bites to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Step 4: coat in bang bang sauce
- 1
Place the salmon bites on a serving platter and drizzle the sauce over them.
- 2
Add the salmon bites to a bowl, pour the sauce over, and gently toss to coat.
Step 5: garnish and serve
- 1
Garnish the salmon bites with chopped parsley, green onions, or sesame seeds for extra flavor and color.
- 2
Serve immediately to enjoy their crispy texture and vibrant flavors.

About this Recipe
Craving a burst of flavor and satisfying texture? These Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites deliver an exciting blend of sweet, spicy, and savory, perfect for a quick snack or a vibrant meal that's anything but boring.
The magic in this recipe lies in the contrast: tender, flavorful salmon pieces paired with an irresistibly creamy, zesty, and spicy Bang Bang sauce. It’s a combination designed to tantalize your taste buds, ensuring every bite is packed with complex, crave-worthy flavors. The promise of "crispy" in the name guarantees an appealing texture that elevates simple salmon to something truly special.
Prepare for an explosion of taste! You'll experience the richness of salmon, seasoned with aromatic garlic, onion, and a hint of smoky paprika, with an optional gentle kick from cayenne pepper. Each succulent piece is then coated in a vibrant, creamy sauce that expertly balances the sweetness of honey and Thai sweet chili with the fiery punch of Sriracha and the bright tang of fresh lime juice. The delightful textural contrast of crispy exteriors and tender interiors makes for an utterly enjoyable eating experience.
Want to dial up the heat? Increase the cayenne pepper or Sriracha sauce to your liking. For a milder touch, simply reduce or omit the cayenne and lessen the Sriracha. You can also experiment with different garnishes; while fresh parsley, cilantro, green onions, and sesame seeds are classic, a sprinkle of toasted crushed peanuts could add another layer of texture.
These Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are incredibly versatile, serving beautifully as a show-stopping appetizer at your next gathering or as the star of a weeknight dinner alongside steamed rice and quick-sautéed vegetables.
