About this Recipe

Craving a wholesome, comforting breakfast that feels like a treat? This Mixed Berry Baked Oatmeal is your perfect start, designed to nourish your body and delight your taste buds.

Why This Recipe Works

This baked oatmeal recipe takes minimal prep for maximum payoff. Combining satisfying rolled oats with a medley of fresh or frozen berries, it bakes up into a tender, flavorful dish. The blend of cinnamon, ginger, and maple syrup creates a warm, inviting aroma and a subtly sweet taste that isn't cloying.

What to Expect

Imagine a breakfast that's simultaneously creamy and slightly chewy, bursting with the sweet-tart goodness of blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries. The eggs and almond butter lend a rich, satisfying texture and depth, while the baking powder ensures a light, fluffy consistency. It’s a comforting hug in a bowl, perfect for a cozy morning or a make-ahead breakfast throughout the week.

Customization & Variations

Feel free to experiment with the berries—any combination of fresh or frozen mixed berries will work wonderfully in this recipe. While the recipe calls for almond milk, you can use any milk you prefer, such as oat milk or dairy milk, to achieve a similar creamy result. For those without almond butter, feel free to substitute with another nut butter or even a seed butter for a nut-free option. If you don't have avocado oil, melted butter works beautifully.

Serving & Context

This baked oatmeal is ideal for a relaxed weekend breakfast or a special brunch. Serve it warm, perhaps with a drizzle of chocolate sauce, a dollop of yogurt, extra fresh berries, or a swirl of almond butter for an extra touch of indulgence.
