Why This Recipe Works
This recipe masterfully layers flavors to create a truly delicious experience. The combination of Morton's Natures Seasoning and a full packet of taco seasoning infuses the pork with a complex, savory base, while the salsa verde and green chilis introduce bright, tangy notes and a gentle warmth. While pork tenderloin is excellent here, you could easily adapt this flavor profile to other cuts like pork loin or even chicken breasts or thighs for a similar succulent result. If you're looking to add more vegetables, consider tossing in bell peppers or corn. For those who like a bolder heat, a pinch of cayenne pepper or a chopped jalapeño could be added with the green chilis.
