Customization & Serving Tips

While the combination of shrimp and sausage is a classic, you can explore slight variations. If you prefer a milder sausage, any fully cooked sausage can stand in for the andouille, though it will change the flavor profile. For a twist on the liquid, if you don't have dry white wine on hand, additional low-sodium chicken broth can be used for simmering, which will still yield a flavorful rice.

This hearty skillet meal is perfect for family dinners or a casual gathering with friends. Serve it straight from the pan, garnished with plenty of fresh flat-leaf parsley for a pop of color and herbaceous freshness. It’s a complete meal on its own, offering robust flavors and satisfying textures in every bite.
