Customization & Variations

While the brown sugar glaze is a star, feel free to experiment with the mustard – a milder yellow mustard could offer a slightly less intense flavor, or a touch of Dijon for a sharper note, though the stone-ground mustard adds unique character. For an extra kick, a pinch of cayenne pepper in the glaze could add a welcome warmth. You can also try different types of smoked sausage if kielbasa isn't readily available, just ensure it holds up well to baking.

These bacon wrapped kielbasa bites are designed to be the highlight of your Christmas brunch or a sought-after party appetizer. Arrange them artfully on a platter for an inviting display that disappears quickly.
