  • 2 stalks celery

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley

    chopped

  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried or fresh thyme

    optional

  • 4 cups chicken broth

    or vegetable broth

  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese

    shredded

  • salt and pepper

Directions
