Ingredients
- 16 oz angel hair pasta
- 1 pound shrimp
raw, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ white onion
sliced
- 8 stalks asparagus
freshly cut into 2 inch pieces
- 4 tbsp butter
- ½ cup dry white wine
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp salt and pepper
- 1 tomato chopped
seeds removed
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp parsley
freshly chopped

Cook the pasta as per the package instructions.

Heat large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil. Once hot, add the onion and stir cook for about 1-2 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute.

Then add the white wine, butter, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add the shrimp and asparagus. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 1-2 minutes or until asparagus is just tender and shrimp is pink.
