Ingredients

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 (13.8 ounce) tube refrigerated pizza crust (OR homemade pizza dough)
  • ¾ cup pizza sauce
  • ¾ cup mozzarella cheese
  • 12-18 slices sliced pepperoni

Directions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Spray the muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. 2

Unroll the pizza dough. Using a knife or pizza cutter, roll out and cut the dough into 12 squares. Place 1 square in each muffin cup, then use your fingers to gently press the dough to fit into the bottom.

  3. 3

Add the pizza filling. Spoon a heaping spoonful of pizza sauce into each pizza cup. Sprinkle about 1 tablespoonful of the mozzarella on top of the sauce. Cut the pepperoni slices in half, then add 2 or 3 pieces to each cup.

  4. 4

Bake the pizza cups. Place the muffin pan in the oven and bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the top crust is golden brown and the filling is hot. Allow to cool slightly in the pan before tipping the cups out of the pan and serving.
