- 1 tspsalt
- ¾ ccornmeal
- ¾ cbread crumbs
- 1 pinchcayenne pepper
- freshly ground black pepper to taste

- 2 tbspmilk
- 1 call-purpose flour
- 3 tbspvegetable oil
- 1 tbspbutter
- 2 tbspsweet pickle relish
- 2 tbspmayonnaise
- 2 tsphot sauce
