
Lean Ground Beef Skillet (Hamburger Helper Inspired)

A go-to weeknight recipe that takes about 10 minutes and is pretty inexpensive. This healthy dinner, reminiscent of Hamburger Helper, features lean ground beef, onions, bell pepper, and a cheesy tomato sauce, served over basmati rice.
Ingredients
- 1onion
- Fresh garlic or garlic powder
- 1 lbgrass-fed ground beef
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 cantomato paste
- ½ cMexican cheese
- 1green bell pepper
- Basmati rice
Directions

Chop 1 onion into small pieces.

In a pan, sauté the chopped onion until translucent.

Add fresh garlic or garlic powder to the pan.

Add 1 pound of grass-fed ground beef and season with salt and pepper.

Cook the ground beef until it is completely browned and cooked through.

Stir in 1 can of tomato paste.

Add 0.5 cup of Mexican cheese and mix until melted.

Cut up 1 green bell pepper and add it to the pan.

Cook for about 2 more minutes, or until the bell pepper reaches your desired texture.
