About this Recipe

Craving that savory, smoky goodness of restaurant-style fried rice without the fuss? This One Pot Bacon Fried Rice recipe is your new weeknight hero, delivering authentic flavors in a quick, homemade meal that's truly better than takeout.

What makes this recipe a standout is its clever use of crispy bacon, which not only provides a rich, savory base but also renders fat to perfectly cook the other ingredients, all in one pot. It’s a brilliant way to build layers of flavor while keeping cleanup minimal, tackling common pain points like multiple dirty dishes and bland results.

You can expect a delightful harmony of textures and tastes. Each forkful offers tender, umami-rich jasmine or white rice, perfectly complemented by the salty crunch of bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and crisp-tender frozen vegetables like peas, carrots, corn, and green beans. The dish is infused with the aromatic notes of sesame oil, onion, and garlic, balanced by the savory depth of soy sauce and a gentle kick from sriracha. This naturally hearty main course is incredibly satisfying and surprisingly easy to achieve.

Feel free to customize this simple fried rice to your liking. While crispy bacon is a star, you could adjust the spice level by using more or less sriracha to suit your preference. Experiment with different combinations of frozen vegetables, ensuring they are chopped small for even cooking. Using day-old cooked jasmine or white rice is key for the best texture, preventing a mushy result.

Serve this hearty One Pot Bacon Fried Rice warm as a complete, flavorful meal on its own. It's perfect for a quick lunch or a satisfying weeknight dinner, bringing comforting Asian-inspired flavors right to your table.
