  • 1/2 sweet onion

  • 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 c. whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
    plus more to taste
  • 1 tsp. dried sage or thyme
