Customization & Variations
- For an even richer texture, swap the fat-free milk for whole milk or even a splash of half-and-half.
- Experiment with different hard cheeses like Pecorino Romano for a sharper, saltier kick, or Gruyere for a nuttier, more complex note.
- Add a pinch of freshly chopped chives or parsley just before serving for a burst of fresh flavor and color.
These versatile Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes are ideal for weeknight dinners and holiday feasts alike. They pair beautifully with roasted chicken, seared steak, or a hearty vegetarian main, offering a comforting and flavorful anchor to your plate.
