About this Recipe
Looking for a show-stopping side dish that effortlessly elevates any meal? These Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Balsamic transform a humble vegetable into a craveable experience, perfect for special occasions or to brighten a weeknight.
The magic here lies in the classic combination of perfectly roasted Brussels sprouts, savory crispy bacon, and the tangy sweetness of balsamic vinegar. Adding toasted pecans creates an irresistible crunch, while dried cranberries and creamy feta introduce delightful layers of flavor and texture that make this side anything but ordinary. It’s a harmonious blend that comes together beautifully.
You'll be delighted by the perfectly caramelized Brussels sprouts, tender on the inside with slightly crispy edges. Each bite offers a burst of savory bacon, the satisfying crunch of toasted pecans, and a sweet-tart tang from the dried cranberries. The creamy feta cheese provides a delightful counterpoint, all balanced by the rich, complex notes of balsamic. This dish is designed to impress without requiring complex techniques, delivering restaurant-quality taste right in your home kitchen.
Easily adapt this recipe to your pantry or preferences. For a Whole30-compliant version, simply omit the feta cheese. Goat cheese makes an excellent substitute for feta, offering a similar tang and creaminess. If you don't have dried cranberries, pomegranate seeds can provide a similar burst of fruity flavor and vibrant color. Swap olive oil for avocado oil depending on your preference or what you have on hand.
Perfect for holiday gatherings, a festive Sunday dinner, or to elevate a simple weeknight meal, these roasted Brussels sprouts pair beautifully with roasted meats, poultry, or even a hearty vegetarian main.
